Begin your engineering education in a supportive environment at NorQuest College. Our program prepares students for success and offers transferability into second-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Alberta for those who achieve a GPA of 2.5 or above.

The Engineering University Transfer Certificate program allows you to complete your foundational/qualifying year (the equivalent of 40.6 credits) before transitioning to university.

When you successfully complete the certificate with a minimum 2.5 GPA, you qualify to apply into the second year of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering program at the University of Alberta. Admission into specific disciplines in the Faculty of Engineering programs at the second-year level is determined on a competitive basis by the University of Alberta.

If your goals change during the program, you're not locked in. Your courses can transfer to other post-secondary institutions, including NAIT, allowing you to explore different educational and career paths while keeping the progress you've made.
