To be admitted to the Ph.D. program, candidates must fulfill the following requirements: A minimum average of B+ (75%), or equivalent, calculated in accordance with graduate studies guidelines. A master's degree with thesis, or equivalent. Students who have not completed a thesis must provide evidence of their ability to do research at the doctoral level by providing a sample of written work such as a memoir, research report, scholarly publication, or qualifying research paper. (If the applicant does not have any of these documents, he or she may be invited to complete an interim report, as described in the Interim Report Guide.) Courses recognized by the Admissions Committee as courses in education (or in health education, or in health if applying for the concentration in Health Professions Education).
