DeGroote’s Graduate Diploma in Professional Accountancy program prepares students to pursue the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and is accredited by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario). Beginning in 2015, the CPA will be the only accounting designation in Canada.

Applicants must also have: A four-year honours bachelor degree; At least a B- (70 – 72%) average in courses on economics; statistics, corporate finance; introductory; intermediate and advanced financial accounting; introductory, intermediate and advanced managerial accounting; accounting theory; audit and assurance, and taxation with a minimum passing grade of 60% in each course; At least a B (73 – 76%) average in each of the last two years of university study.Admission requirementEntry requirements may vary from country to country. Students are required to complete Grade 12 high school diploma equivalent to Canadian qualification.
