M.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering

The M.A.Sc. degree is a thesis-based program where students are required to complete courses in addition to writing and defending a thesis. Also called the ''Research masters'', the M.A.Sc. has a nominal duration of 24 months (6 semesters) after the Bachelor’s degree. The M.A.Sc. program consists of three one-term graduate courses and a dissertation based on research completed under the supervision of a professor.The dissertation must be an original contribution to chemical engineering and must be defended at an oral examination.
