Gain foundational knowledge of low-pressure steam boilers, refrigeration, and water treatment systems.Program Highlights Accredited by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Gain hands-on experience building, wiring, and troubleshooting gas and oil-fired equipment Prepares participants for provincial testing by the TSSA for Oil Burner Technician 3 (OBT 3) and Gas Technician 3 (G3) certification. Gain industry experience through field placement Students have the option to transition into the second semester of the Gas and Oil Burner Technician (049) program, in order to obtain their Oil Burner Technician 2 (OBT 2) and Gas Technician 2 (G2) certification.
