Curtin Malaysia’s Diploma of Information Technology offers a comprehensive introduction to the planning, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of an organisation’s computing infrastructure. It prepares you for employment across diverse sectors and industries, while also providing a pathway to advanced degrees like the Bachelor of Computing and Bachelor of Technology at Curtin Malaysia, with advanced standing of up to 200 credits. Year 1 focuses on developing foundational skills in writing, speaking, critical thinking, and research. You will also study introductory units in information technology, programming, engineering, and mathematics. Year 2 builds on this foundation by advancing your programming expertise and covering core computing concepts such as C++, Java, Linux, and object-oriented programming. You’ll also have the opportunity to specialise in an area that aligns with your future degree. The program concludes with industrial training, providing you with hands-on experience and practical skills to ensure you are industry-ready upon graduation.
