The Master of Education Inclusive Education is an advanced level professional degree for teachers working in the field of inclusive and special education within the school and wider education sector. This degree will provide you with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to support teachers and students to succeed in an inclusive education system. Your qualification options The Master of Education does not qualify you to be a teacher in New Zealand. If you want to be a teacher, you will also need to take a postgraduate teaching qualification. To enter the Master of Education Inclusive Education you will have been awarded or qualified forthe Bachelor of Education with a grade average in the highest level courses of at least a B or equivalent orany other bachelors degree with a grade average in the highest level courses of at least a B or equivalent and hold a professional qualification in teaching orany other bachelors degree with a grade average in the highest level courses of at least a B or equivalent and have professional experience relevant to the intended postgraduate subject ora Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent with a grade average across all courses of at least B coursework pathway or at least a B research pathway.
