The PGDipArts is an alternative to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours). You can choose from a wide range of Arts subjects and may be able to include a dissertation. This programme might be for you if you want to undertake advanced study without writing a dissertation, if honours degrees aren’t recognised in your country, or if you would like to study part-time over a longer period. Our research interests are wide ranging, spanning many aspects of psychology, from evolution to neuroscience and sensory science to the formation of lasting relationships and the maintenance of positive mental health. Research interests open to exploration include: Applied behaviour analysis, Cognition and culture in New Caledonian crows, Cognitive and language development, Cognitive neuroscience, Community psychology, Gender, and sexuality, Developmental cognitive neuroscience, Educational psychology, Experimental analysis of behaviour, Language and cultural evolution, Māori and Pacific psychology, New Zealand attitudes and values, Sensory psychology, Social psychology and Speech science Sustainability.
