American Studies and Politics with a Year Abroad - BA (Hons)

On this fascinating four-year BA (Hons) degree program, you will have the chance to explore the culture, history and politics of the United States of America, alongside British and European Politics. Tailor this varied and flexible course to suit your interests, whether in American film, music, race, gender, civil rights and political protest to international relations, political economy, and conflict and peace. This degree program covers the period of American history from colonization through to the recent Trump presidency as well as spanning many areas of British and European political thought and study. As part of this programme, you will spend a year abroad between your second and final year, broadening your skills and experience. Our partner institutions span the globe, including the USA, with opportunities varying each year.
