Programmes of work across ISMIB are varied and are led by world experts in their fields.Our research spans a magnitude of scales, from single molecules and simple molecular pathways through to whole organisms and the complex integration of molecular pathways. Cutting-edge and world-leading multiomics technologies are used by our researchers to answer impactful biological real-world questions related to health and disease.Fundamental cancer research is aimed at providing the discoveries that can lead to new avenues of research and are ultimately translated into patient benefits. Scientific laboratory research in the Department of Molecular and Clinical Cancer Medicine is performed in an environment that has a wealth of clinical expertise and research.
