The BEng (Hons) Electrical Electronic Engineering (Top-Up) degree will give you advanced practical experience working with specialist facilities including simulation software such as MATLAB and, as an Engineering student at Newcastle College University Centre, you will have access to a range of industry-standard equipment in practical environments.During this practical degree you will study Programming Embedded Microcontrollers using C Language, and enhance practical and theoretical concepts of Digital Electronics and Electrical Power Systems by studying and building Digital Electronic Circuits used in industrial environments. You will also learn about HVDC, Synchronous and Asynchronous machines and Single and Three Phase Power Systems used in Electrical Power industrial applications.This Top-Up degree will also provide you with a balance of interpersonal skills and industrial knowledge from using an industrial approach to Electrical Electronic, Control and Industrial Engineering techniques.
