Whether you are new to travel and tourism or have relevant previous experience and want to widen your horizons, these highly-regarded qualifications could enhance your future career prospects.** **About the course**Students will be encouraged to gain knowledge and understanding of the broad aspects in Travel and Tourism Management. There will be a strong emphasis on employability skills and the underpinning knowledge essential for students with entrepreneurial, employment or academic aspirations. Programme content is designed to be appropriate for entry into or progression within the international travel and tourism sector and enables students to progress onto higher study at Higher National Diploma (HND) or BA (Hons) top-up pathways.This course will be based at the college's new £58 million City Hub campus, near Nottingham train station. Students may further develop their careers by entering employment in a wide range of roles in the global travel and tourism sector such as: operations manager, tourism development manager, visitor attractions manager, events manager, marketing and sales manager, flight /passenger operations manager, destination manager, tourism development officer or tourism business adviser.
