Integrate academic learning and on-the-job practical training During interactive seminars, apprentices will study core mechanical engineering theory such as solid mechanics, thermodynamics, computer-aided design (CAD) and mathematics. We reinforce theoretical learning, laboratory and workshop activities that give apprentices the opportunity to design, test and manufacture real engineering systems will also be delivered. Furthermore, the degree has a focus on professional engineering skills development by exploring other essential topics such as project management, finance and ethics. Upon successful completion of the Manufacturing Engineer Apprenticeship, apprentices will be awarded a B(Eng) Mechanical Engineering degree and a nationally-recognised apprenticeship completion certificate. Both new and existing employees are eligible to apply.
