Research in English has three interrelated themes:Creative WritingThe Long 19th Century (interdisciplinary research facilitated by the LCVS including modernism and twentieth-century and twenty-first century responses to the Victorians) andLanguage, Linguistics and Translation (incorporating multilingualism, translingualism, and the use of translational processes in literature).
