Cyberpsychology helps us to understand: You’ll also explore various engaging topics: from the benefits of playing videogames, to how misinformation spreads online, as well as problematic engagement with technology, cybercrime, and digital health! We’re excited to showcase the breadth of Cyberpsychology while establishing a balanced view of the effects on human behaviour. Throughout Buckingham’s MSc Cyberpsychology, you’ll engage in weekly tutorials with your module tutor, with in-depth and thought-provoking discussions on various topics in Cyberpsychology that enhance your communication skills in small groups. After building your understanding on human interaction with technology, you will have the opportunity to complement your knowledge with developing practical skills in user experience design. You will also receive research methods training (quantitative and qualitative) that you will apply on a supervised dissertation research project of your choosing. This will be delivered alongside a module that is specifically focused on developing your professional and career focused skills in preparation for your future. The programme has a focus on applicability, so you will be constantly developing key skills that will be relevant for future employability.
