Our BPS-accredited MSc Psychology course is designed both for people looking for a career in psychology, and for individuals who want to learn about psychology for personal interest or to advance existing careers. You will gain knowledge of psychology which can be applied in a variety of life situations and job roles.

You will cover topics such as autism, wellbeing, addiction, relationships, ageing, and leadership. Assessment methods on the course include case study work, research reports, audiovisual presentations, collaborative work, mixed media portfolios, and critical reflections.

You will emerge with a substantial foundation in psychology, well-suited for opportunities in teaching, social services, human resources, management, and more. If you achieve the threshold grade for accreditation, the course provides the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological society, allowing you to start training for chartered psychology professions such as clinical, forensic, educational, organisational, or counselling psychology.
