On this course, you’ll train to become a cognitive behavioural therapist. During your studies, you’ll:gain a critical understanding of cognitive behavioural models of anxiety disorders and depressiondevelop the skills to deliver high-quality, cognitive behavioural interventions across this range of problems.We currently offer one pathway through this course: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Common Mental Health Difficulties.This course is Level 2 British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accredited. When you graduate, you’ll have the basis to apply for professional accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).This PGDip is offered in partnership between the School of Psychology at the University of Sussex, one of the largest psychology units in the UK, and the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

شروط القبول

للطلاب الدوليين

You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above. If you dont have the degree requirement for this course you should provide a portfolio of evidence of written work produced while training or working in the field. Subject-specific requirements - You must have a Core Professional qualification in a mental-health or related field as defined by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or evidence of equivalence to a Core Profession. To demonstrate equivalence, you must complete the BABCP Knowledge Skills and Attitudes portfolio and meet all specified criteria, foundation-level knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and evidence of providing structured psychological therapies and interventions.
