The MA Print at the RCA explores the technical image and printed matter from a contemporary art perspective, valuing both historical legacies and experimental futures. You will make work through workshops, exhibitions, publishing and writing, using expansive print processes and engaging with archives, global media, and methods of presentation. The programme supports you to develop your personal voice through self-reflexivity and experimentation, questioning the relationship between material and virtual forms of image multiplication. With input from practicing artists, seminars, tutorials and talks, you interrogate originality, authenticity and the impact of technologies on how images are communicated and distributed.
