ماذا سوف أتعلم؟

You will examine the ethical, legal and regulatory context in which sports journalists work and learn about the historical and cultural significance of sport. You will learn how to produce content for print, web, social media, radio and TV audiences.
All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.

The course is suitable if you don't meet the entry requirements for our BA (Hons) Sports Journalism course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other media arts and communication foundation year students, then move on to the degree.

Duration- 4 (5 Year with placement year)

UCAS points 112- 120 This must include at least 64 points from two A levels, equivalent BTEC National qualifications or T levels: including mathematics and either physics or chemistry subjects. For example: BBC-BBB at A Level including a grade C in a relevant subject. DDM in BTEC Extended Diploma in a relevant subject. Merit overall from a T Level Qualification including a grade B from the Core and must be an engineering T level- excluding Design and development for engineering and manufacturing. A combination of qualifications which must include a relevant subject and may include AS levels, EPQ and general studies. International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points IELTS - 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills, or equivalent. TOEFL internet based- (79 overall score (Listening:17, Speaking:20, Reading:18, Writing:17)
