Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP) - Humanities and Social Sciences - (3 Semesters)

This programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to a wide range of undergraduate studies at UCLan. All students who successfully complete the UFP are guaranteed placement on a suitable programme of undergraduate study at UCLan. The UFP is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the UK. Students can also apply, through UCAS, to up to five other top UK universities on completion of their Foundation programme.There are four academic pathways to choose from and you will study the pathway most suited to your chosen progression degree. Academic skills relevant to the specific subject area will be taught to fully prepare you for university study.The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Engineering & Physical Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and Life Sciences.
