Illinois Tech’s Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering/Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering accelerated master's program allows students the opportunity to pursue advanced studies and complete both degrees in as few as five years. The undergraduate aerospace engineering program curriculum will prepare students with the ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems within a collaborative and inclusive environment. Our graduate program in materials science and engineering will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop and improve materials that impact everyday life. In this program students will learn about connections between materials’ structure and performance, including semiconductors, nanotechnology, and bio-materials. In addition, they will learn how newly engineered materials can be used to advance the future of technology. This program equips students with skills to develop and improve materials that impact everyday life.
