The option in art education is a great way to get started on a career in teaching the visual arts. You earn a bachelor's degree and gain the subject matter competency needed to apply for a teaching credential, such as the Single Subject Credential in Art, which allows you to teach in a California public school. Additionally, the program also prepares you for graduate study in art education and for careers in museums, galleries, art and cultural organizations, and other community-based educational settings.

للطلاب الدوليين

International students applying for freshman admission must have graduated from a college-preparatory high school program and must not have completed or attempted any college or university coursework after high school graduation. Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) on the U.S. 4.0 grading scale. SAT or ACT scores are not required for admission, although submitting higher-level test scores may help students qualify for higher-level English and/or mathematics courses.
