Courses are designed to provide knowledge and techniques for understanding how criminal justice and social structures influence human behavior. With an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, students will have 60 credit hours of college to either continue their education at a four-year university or to enter any public safety agency at the federal, state, and local levels. Criminal Justice careers can encompass a variety of jobs. Qualified graduates seek employment in law enforcement at the Federal, State, and local level, State and Federal Court Systems, Law Firms, Adult and Juvenile Correctional Facilities, Community Correctional Programs, Child Advocacy, Protective Services, Private Sector, and other service agencies. Students are exposed to different professions in the criminal justice system, as well as professionals in the field of criminal justice. The classes are no more than 32 students which allow for excellent student-faculty interaction. The Criminal Justice program offers courses on-campus and online.
