Computer science is the study of processing information using computers. Students study the design, development, and analysis of software and hardware used to solve problems. Students will learn the fundamental concepts in computer science as well as parts of the computer and other functions. Computer science courses introduce students to the principles of systematic problem solving through programming and the basic rules of computation. This field continues to evolve quickly, reflecting changes in technology and new areas of specialization, as well as the changing practices of employers
