The B.S. in Architecture is a pre-professional, four-year program, leading to career opportunities within the building industry as well as to accelerated graduate-level degrees, including Architecture, Infrastructure Planning, Civil Engineering and Construction Management. As an Architecture school within a research university, we are a platform for innovation. Our emphasis on research faculty offers students the opportunity to collaborate in growing areas from nanotechnology to augmented and virtual reality, and to explore the frontiers of robotics and digital fabrication. Our program objectives are grounded in professional accreditation requirements.We emphasize Business with the Power of STEM. A career in business requires an understanding of business principles but also needs to have a strong technology foundation. Our focus on experiential learning including co-ops, study abroad, research, Bloomberg, IBM, and Salesforce provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in in the dynamic business world of today. Students in the Tuchman School of Management get to explore the leading edge technologies across the NJIT ecosystem. Technology continues to change at a fast pace and keeping up with these changes requires a dynamic educational focus. NJIT has always been a leader in technology and the Tuchman School of Management is able to tap into this resource to better prepare its students to manage in a business world that is driven by technology. Through the utilization and integration of technology, with logical problem-solving capability, and business concepts and theory students will be prepared to be business leaders.
