Graduates are equipped with the skills they need to make a difference in the world.The Health Promotion & Education BAS program’s focus is promoting health and wellness through a social justice and culturally responsive lens. We recognize that health is multidimensional and interconnected with a range of factors such as culture, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, ability, and age. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality care, regardless of their social or economic status.The Health Promotion and Education Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree at Bellevue College prepares students to develop, implement, and manage health promotion programs for individuals, communities, and organizations. Our mission is to promote wellness and health literacy, improve health equity, prevent injuries, infectious and chronic disease.
