Yeshiva College offers courses in studio arts (drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture), art history, architectural history, and architectural theory and design. Courses in studio arts explore practical, structural, and creative ideas in visual media. Courses in art history and architectural history study the visual arts in their historical context. Students examine each work not only for its intrinsic aesthetic appeal, but also for a perspective into artistic schools and movements, artist careers, and larger social and cultural issues within intellectual history.
