The Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting Concentration is designed to provide a firm foundation in accounting because competence in accounting is fundamental to good business management. In this program you will gain expertise that can open the door to careers in private industry, government, or other nonprofit accounting entities. If you wish to pursue professional certification, NEC advisors will help you develop a four‐year plan to make it happen. Earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting prepares you for a professional career. The program goes beyond general courses in business and leadership and focuses on concrete skills in financial reporting, taxation, and auditing.

New England College recognizes the IB curriculum as a challenging academic program that provides excellent preparation for university study. In most cases, credits are awarded for a minimum score of 5 on Standard Level (SL) exams and minimum score of 4 on Higher Level (HL). Additionally, students who earn an IB diploma in English can have their English Proficiency Score waived.A maximum of 30 credits may be awarded for IB.
