All degree coursework must be completed satisfactorily before enrolling in the Internship unless prior permission is obtained from the Curricular Area Director and the Department Chair. Students must have taken certification exams prior to beginning the internship unless an exception is made in consult with Curricular Area Director and advisor. Fall internship applications are due on the 4th Friday of the previous spring term. Spring internship applications are due on the 4th Friday of the previous fall term.

Admissions decisions at UNF are rendered based on academic merit. The state of Florida has implemented minimum admission standards for freshman applicants to all Florida public state universities. In order to be considered, students must have a minimum 2.5 recalculated GPA on a 4.0 scale and meet minimum test score requirements.Regardless of when they graduated from high school, students applying as first-time-in-college (FTIC) applicants are required to submit either SAT, ACT and/or CLT test scores. UNF does not require the essay section of the SAT or ACT.A minimum TOEFL score of 79 internet-based (550 paper-based or 213 computer-based) A band score of 6.5 on the University of Cambridge IELTS
