The study of biochemistry and molecular biology links the chemical, physical and biological sciences. You will apply concepts and methods of chemistry and physics to the fundamental problems of biology, in the classroom and the laboratory. You will build a strong foundation in physical and biological sciences, with coursework tailored to meet your career goals. All of our degree tracks can prepare you for an excellent career in science or health care fields, including medicine and veterinary science. OSU's program is the only American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology accredited program in the state and one of only a handful in the entire country.
