In Chemistry, you’ll study the composition, structure, and properties of substances and the changes they undergo. Chemists help develop new products and adding new knowledge to fields as diverse as nanotechnology, materials science, polymer chemistry, energy production, and biomedical engineering. The courses you choose will open up a wealth of career opportunities - not lock you into one occupation. You’ll extend your education way beyond the classroom to every area of your life. Many graduates in chemistry go on to graduate school in chemistry, or related areas such as polymer chemistry, chemical engineering or environmental science. Other students elect professional schools in the health sciences including medical school, dental school, or pharmacy school. Some students may pursue law school, teacher certification, or training in data analytics and informatics.

Basic requirements for admission as an international student to a bachelor's degree program include the following: Completion of formal secondary education in a pre-university curriculum. Completion must include the awarding of a diploma or the issuance of a leaving certificate or matriculation certificate generally recognized as the educational qualification necessary for admission to higher studies. English language ability at a level sufficient to undertake a full course of study. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing (ACT) scores (if applicable). International students are not required to provide an ACT or SAT score, but they may use the ACT or SAT to satisfy English language proficiency requirements. Copy of Passport or National ID card.
