The goals of the ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering are to prepare graduates for the following - Succeed in a career in electrical engineering or in further education. Approach problem solving with an engineering mind set. Grow professionally. You will take foundation courses in pre-engineering, mathematics, calculus-based physics, chemistry, humanities, and social sciences. You will also take fundamental engineering coursework, advanced courses, and electrical engineering elective courses. During your studies you will participate in classroom discussions and gain hands-on experience with laboratory and research activities. During your senior year, the capstone design experience will challenge you to demonstrate your ability to work in teams to design, develop, and test solutions to engineering problems.
