The mission of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is to provide a modern, high quality educational experience for all of our students. We provide the knowledge and principles on which electrical engineering and computer engineering are founded in order to graduate engineers who are technically competent, creative, articulate, and socially aware.The primary objective for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is to prepare graduates to engage successfully in the practice of electrical engineering and/or computer engineering by obtaining employment or admission to graduate school.
