The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) – Electronics Engineering Technology (EET), Automation Emphasis at Pittsburg State University prepares students for careers involving industrial automation, electronic control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, networking, and process control. The program combines a strong foundation in electronics, circuit analysis, computer programming, microcomputer systems, instrumentation, and electrical power with specialized automation coursework. Students gain hands-on experience with PLC programming, system integration, human-machine interfaces (HMI), industrial networks, SCADA systems, variable frequency drives, robotics, machine vision, and Industry 4.0 technologies. The program also includes a two-semester senior capstone in which students design and develop a market-relevant prototype, providing practical experience in project management, product development, system design, and validation.

Complete official transcripts or academic records in native language and official English translation including grades earned in each subject.Copy of the secondary school or high school certificate of completion or diploma, if applicable. Current certified bank statement or financial guarantee (within 6 months), Financial Statement of Support form, Delivery Method form, Copy of passport, All official documents (original or certified copies) must be mailed directly to Pittsburg State University. Official transcripts must be received direct from the issuing school in a sealed envelop. A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post secondary institution (college/university)
