Join the effort to protect the environment and combat climate change. A Bachelor of Science in Geography with a concentration in Environmental Studies focuses on the complex interactions between the environment and society. With this concentration, students will develop skills to address both the natural and social aspects of environmental issues. Students who select a BS in Geography with a concentration in Environmental Studies will emphasize course work in physical and human geography with a focus on human-environment interactions. Students employed in a diverse array of internships and careers.

Beginning freshman from international high school:- Graduation from a high school recognized by the home country ministry of education, Official transcripts/diplomas (in native language and English) showing all courses and marks of final three years of secondary school Students with a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.25 or higher are guaranteed admission to UNT. Students' GPAs will be standardized on a 4.0 GPA scale once transcripts are submitted. Beginning freshman from U.S. high school:- Minimum of three years and graduation from an accredited high school in the U.S., Official transcripts, showing rank in class through at least junior year, plus graduation date, U.S. graduates only. Send SAT or ACT scores
