Focusing on tree fruits, small fruits, and vegetables, you’ll learn the most efficient and sustainable practices to grow, harvest, handle, store, and process diverse crops. The Fruit and Vegetable Management major offers specialization in the science and practice of growing, harvesting, handling, storing, processing, and marketing tree fruits, small fruits, and vegetables. Students will learn the most efficient and sustainable management practices involving state-of-the-art production systems for the diverse fruit and vegetable crops produced in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
