If you are interested in working with individuals with communication differences or disorders, the Bachelor of Science in Special Education K-12 Communication Sciences and Disorders Endorsement could be your first step toward a career in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. You will have the opportunity to: 1) meet peers in the major, gain new skills and learn more about the professions by participating in EMU’s chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) 2) participate in the Undergraduate Research Symposium and, 3) compete for a prestigious Brehm Scholarship. Most Special Education K-12 Communication Sciences and Disorders Endorsement graduates pursue graduate degrees in Speech-Language Pathology.
