The M.S. in Computational Biology and Biostatistics provides students with undergraduate degrees in the natural sciences or mathematics with the opportunity expand their career options to the field of computational biology.

In addition to the general requirements for admission to graduate study in St. Johns College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, applicants must present a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0, as well as a 3.0 or better in the major discipline.

Language Requirements

Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not attended a postsecondary institution in which English is the language of instruction must provide TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores for admission.

Applicants who have taken the SAT can have the TOEFL/IELTS requirement waived

Applicants who have attended an American high school abroad or an American university can have the TOEFL/IELTS requirement waived

Applications received by March 1 will receive priority consideration for fall admission. Applications received by October 1 will be given priority consideration for spring admission.
