The mission of The University of Toledo’s graduate program in Educational Administration and Supervision is to develop principals, superintendents and educational leaders who are ethical, creative and collaborative problem solvers in preK-12 education. The program is designed with the working professional in mind. Classes are scheduled in the evenings via real time video conferencing, allowing students time to return home and continue their professional learning in comfort. The Educational Administration and Supervision curriculum is a blend of practical experience, leadership theory and research design. UToledo graduate students learn to be servant leaders, having the greatest positive impact on the school community or district. They learn to use data to improve schools, serve the needs of teachers, and enhance student learning. The Judith Herb College of Arts, Social Sciences Education offers two graduate degrees in Educational Administration and Supervision and a certificate for Principal Licensure: Master of Education (M.Ed.) The M.Ed. program provides all necessary coursework to be eligible for the Ohio licensure exam. Licensure is a requirement for public school principals and other building-level administrators, as well as district-level leaders. Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) Build a program and choose a research specialization that fulfills your professional goals and personal interests. Original research and dissertation are required. Certificate for Principal Licensure Our unique certificate program is designed for Ohio educators who hold a master's degree in an education-related field and wish to earn a license as a building-level administrator. top reasons to study educational administration and supervision at UToledo Accredited. In addition to admission requirements of the College of Graduate Studies, admission to the doctoral program requires the following:

A masters degree from an accredited college or university

A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for all previous graduate academic work

English Language Proficiency: TOEFL PBT - 550, TOEFL IBT 80, IELTS 6.5, PTE 58, Duolingo 110.
