In the Electrical and Computer Engineering department we have talented faculty who are dedicated to your success. The faculty are engaged in cutting edge research areas ranging from development of printable wearable devices computational imaging systems and power systems to intelligent systems machine learning and assistive technology to name a few. Their job is to impart their experience and expertise to you in the classroom and engage you in their research. They are accomplished researchers and teachers who have received research awards from many funding agencies and companies including the National Science Foundation the National Institutes of Health the Department of Defense and National Institute of Standards and Technology. In addition many of them have experience as practicing engineers.

A Baccalaureate or Masters Degree The applicant must provide an unofficial transcript showing that a U.S. bachelors degree or its equivalent was awarded by an accredited college or university or is expected to be awarded within one term. If accepted to the University of Memphis the student must provide an official transcript by the end of their first semester. In addition transcripts from any other college or university attended may be requested. Only transcripts received directly from an issuing institution are considered official. Personal copies are not acceptable as official documents. If you are a UofM undergraduate student applying to Graduate School at UofM you do not need to request that an official transcript be sent to Graduate Admissions. GPA 3.04.0 cumulative GPA. Departments may set higher standards.
