This certificate provides you with an understanding of how our natural environment is governed and affected by relationships between various entities, including legislatures, administrative agencies, courts, governments, nonprofits, the private sector and the public. The Graduate Certificate in Environmental Policy and Management provides an understanding of how our natural environment is governed and affected by relationships between various public organizations at all levels of government courts nonprofit and private sectors community groups and the public, and the range of policy tools and management approaches targeting environmental issues.
Applicants must hold a baccalaureate or masters degree from an accredited college or university or demonstrate completion of work equivalent to the baccalaureate or masters degree given at CU Denver. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, with a minimum grade of “B-” (2.7) in each course.
