Graduate Certificate Mental Health Sexology

This 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Sexology provides specialized research training in the field of mental health sexology. Students who complete this certificate will have a greater knowledge of the overlap between mental health and sexual health, will have the opportunity to conceptualize and design a research protocol of their own, and can expect opportunities to be a named author on at least one peer-reviewed publication or presentation. Possible research topics include (but are not limited to): Sexually Transmitted Infections, LGBTQ plus health, sex education, sexual dysfunction, and paraphilias. Any post-baccalaureate student is eligible to apply for this certificate. This certificate can also be completed by Clinical Mental Health Counseling students using the available 9 credits of elective coursework in the CMHC program of study (please contact the Graduate School about adding the certificate if you are a current UNF CMHC student).
