The Master of Arts Degree (non-thesis option) is open to post baccalaureate students with degrees in earth science, geology, or related fields. Earning your master’s degree in Geology from SIU will ensure you’re fully prepared for professional opportunities and have the training necessary to succeed.Graduate students in Geology at SIU work on problems across the discipline, in areas ranging from traditional subfields, such hydrogeology and geophysics, to rapidly growing areas such as planetary geology.
