ماذا سوف أتعلم؟

The social epidemiology concentration prepares students to be public health leaders that use the methodological approaches of biostatistics and epidemiology to investigate and reduce health inequalities. This concentration focuses on social determinants of health as causes of health disparities and examines the role of concepts such power and social context. Students learn to use data to inform research, policy, and intervention efforts that lead to effective action aimed at eliminating health inequalities.

للطلاب الدوليين

A bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution is required for admission. A completed online application. For the MPH, we will only accept applications via SOPHAS. Official transcripts from all previous college coursework. A GPA of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale) is recommended, but not required, for admission. If your cumulative undergraduate GPA is below a 3.0, please provide a brief, 250-word statement describing any circumstances which may have led to your GPA and how you plan to be successful in an academically rigorous graduate-level program. You will find this in the questions section in the SOPHAS application.
