Bachelors degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants with a lower GPA may be considered based on other strengths, such as relevant coursework, research, internship experience, or grade improvement over time.
This program requires an undergraduate degree in a chemistry, biology, biochemistry, physics, or forensic science and must include at least:
two semesters of general chemistry
at least one semester of calculus or statistics
at least one of the following:
at least two semesters of general biology which includes the co-requisites laboratory (minimum of 7 semester hours)
at least two semesters of organic chemistry which includes the co-requisites laboratory (minimum of 7 semester hours), or
at least two semesters of physics, which includes the co-requisite laboratories (minimum of 7 semester hours).
