Media Arts and Technology Certificate

In our 18-credit (six-course) certificate in media arts and technology, you, as a working professional, will stay current in the fast-paced, evolving field in which media, design and technology intersect. The certificate affords you opportunities to explore and research careers in media, design and production, and technology. The curriculum allows you to build a focused program of study, concentrating in creative & strategic media or interactive design. The creative and strategic media program focuses on effective multimedia storytelling and visual communication approaches utilized in journalism, public relations, advertising, publishing and digital media production. The interactive design program focuses on designing interactive media products (e.g., websites, apps, augmented reality, immersive media experiences), user experience (UX) design and research, usability and technology.
