The Certificate in Teaching College-Level Writing offers high school and college composition teachers new approaches to the teaching of writing and theories of rhetoric, literacy, and composition. International students applying for a masters degree program must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on the U.S. 4.0 grading scale, including a minimum 2.5 GPA in the last 60 units or credits of an acceptable bachelors degree.
