Kent International Scholarship for Undergraduates

This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in September 2026 only.

Please note that this scholarship is only available to students assessed as self-funded overseas fee payers who are paying fees directly to the University of Kent. This award is also open to international students who are assessed as overseas fee payers, but are currently resident in the UK for purposes of study. 

This award is not stackable with other University of Kent scholarships. Should you apply for a higher value scholarship and be successful, you will receive the higher value award and the Kent International Scholarship (UG) will then be retracted.

Students who are studying an SQA or SATC based in China are not eligible, however they may instead be eligible for a scholarship of £2k-£3k. Details about this will be communicated to eligible applicants via email.

Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.

Applicants who have applied for a short term programme are not eligible.

Applicants from the Kent and Medway Medical School or the School of Pharmacy are not eligible.

We are delighted to offer automatic scholarships of £5,000 to eligible applicants who accept their offer to study at the University of Kent. This will be allocated over two years as a tuition fee waiver. The first £3,000 will be taken off the tuition fees for the first year of study, and the remaining £2,000 will be deducted from the tuition fees when you progress to the second stage of study. *If you are studying with us for just one year, you will receive the £3,000 tuition fee waiver only.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have applied for undergraduate taught, full-time programmes, and have met the criteria listed.
