Mathematicians study pattern and order, focusing on quantity, arrangement and form. You'll gain a firm foundation in pure mathematics, and flexible options in the program allow you to apply these skills in fields ranging from finance to cryptography. This program is offered co-operatively by the Department of Mathematics and the School of Computing Science. In general, students are expected to meet the requirements of both the department and the school with respect to admission, continuation and graduation requirements.
