ماذا سوف أتعلم؟

The objective of the PhD program is to form the next generation of scientists in pharmacological and biomedical sciences. PhD students will be involved in cutting-edge scientific research and will develop critical thinking as well as communication and problem-solving skills. Upon completion of the PhD program our students should be able to perform scientific research independently. The Department of Pharmacology offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in pharmacology.

The Department's minimum admission requirements are an MSc degree in pharmacology or a companion discipline with an admission GPA of at least 3.3 on the 4-point scale from the University of Alberta, or an equivalent qualification and standing from a recognized institution. The admission GPA will be calculated on the last 60 of graded coursework completed, or on the equivalent of the last two years of full-time graded coursework.
